The founder, Mark Ellison, started employment as an Industrial Electrical Apprentice in 1979 at the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Company. Mark work in the tire industry with automation systems for 23 years before the plant (then South Pacific Tyres, Thomastown) closed in 2002.

MHE is a family owned business incorporated in 2001.
Our licence, as a registered electrical contractor (REC 8151), was issued in 1986 and later transferred to the company when the MHE Group was formed in 2001.
The company has since received accreditation from both the Clean Energy Council and Solar Homes Victoria as an approved solar retailer.
Mark also has Clean Energy Council photovoltaic system design and installation accreditation.
